This grant is for renewing and enhancing a public pocket park, which is adjacent to a community garden in the Italian Market area of South Philadelphia.  Materials purchased will be perennial shade plants and mulch. The goal of the grant is to plant the right type of plants in what has become a shady garden due to tree growth.
