This grant is for enhancing the historic landscape of Laurel Hill East Cemetery in East Falls.  Grant money will support the purchase, planting and mulching of three horticulturally significant cultivars of Saucer Magnolias in honor of Paul Meyer, former director of Morris Arboretum, who is buried in Laurel Hill. Cultivars were personally identified by him, prior to his death. The goal of the grant is to add these magnolias to Laurel Hill’s living collection of historic and sustainable plants, which also provides a beautiful public space for all to appreciate the natural beauty of the region.   Signage will acknowledge PCGCA.
