This grant is for community enrichment and historic garden restoration in the Tulpehocken/Germantown neighborhood. Materials purchased with the grant will be additional David Austin roses, Stewartia ‘monadelpha’ tree, grape vines, mulch for the perennial beds, and spraying of existing cedar and spruce trees. The goal of this project is to maintain a place of beauty and tranquility for visitors and the community, using appropriate plantings for the historic mansion.
