The grant is for increased food production in the Community Garden of this Germantown neighborhood. Funds will provide seeds, plants, pots, soil, and picnic benches that will also be used as potting benches. The aim is to revitalize and grow the historic community home farm project, which provides a hands-on-gardening experience as well as a share of much-needed fresh produce.
