Norris Square Las Parcelas Neighborhood Project:
The grant is for a food production involving families, students, and seniors in the Kensington neighborhood. Materials purchased with this grant will be an underground water line, plumbing valves and fittings, spigots, tubing, connectors, hose reels, gutters and down spouts, and rain barrels to substantially improve the water management and irrigation of this large community garden. The goal of the grant is to provide dependable watering system which will strengthen their horticultural practices and food production.
