Chipping Hill Micro Farms

The grant is for a food production project involving Pre-K and Head Start children attending the Johnson Child Care Center in the Ogontz neighborhood. Materials purchased with the grant will be lumber for two new garden beds, seeds, potting soil and plants. The aim of the program is to teach children where their food comes from and to encourage them to eat more healthy food.
